well that was a great trip.

hello

has you may know, I was just in montreal for my 3rd oppointment for my back.
and in all the famous movies there is good news and bad news.

we will start positive, my back's curve has decreased 18 degress since i first got the
brace 9 months ago, which is completely fabulous! the reason that i got this brace was just
to hold the curve, we weren't expecting any changes.

now we move on to the negitive. before my back got the brace i had an S curve (my spine was in the shape of an S) and although my main curve has very much improved, the other one seems to have gotten bigger, and much brace had to be ajusted to this, i now have one of the straps from my brace going right threw the middle of my chest.

well thanks for listening

for the girls with scoliosis

Hello world. my name is emma. i am a 13 yr. old girl with the disease of scoliosis.
this is my first post as a blogger, and i hope that the blogs that i do are worth
the extra effort.
firstly i would like to say that having scoliosis is not something that should be taken
lightly, for if not treated properally, it could have to be treated by surgery.
secondly, this is a disease that affects over 30'000 childeren per year. so you are not alone
thirdly a scoliosis is a curve in the spine. mine happens to be 43 degrees.
and lastly the best way to treat scoliosis is to brace it. yes i said it. brace it. the brace that i have is the SPINECOR FEXIBLE BRACE which does not i repeat not have an impact on any pysical activities.
to all the girls with a curved spine i say good bye.
untill tomorrow
emma.
